Welcome to our eNewsletter!

We are pleased to introduce the newest member of the Hockenberg family — the Hockenberg Huddle. Through this eNewsletter, we will share stories about our searches, provide you with search and hiring tips you can put into practice and communicate information about industry trends that impact the manufacturing business.

Hockenberg Search is passionate about manufacturing, and for good reasons! Manufacturing is the backbone of Minnesota's economy. According to Minnesota DEED, manufacturing represents 13 percent of all private sector jobs and $43.7 billion dollars to the state's economy. Sixteen percent of Minnesota's GDP is due to manufacturing. The industry pays an average annual wage of $61.048 per employee, which exceeds many other industries. Since 2010, Minnesota has added 19,677 new jobs, and we are excited to have contributed to that job growth!

We join our manufacturing search partners in celebrating Minnesota Manufacturers Week from October 1-10. If you are a member of the manufacturing community, we salute you and look forward to many more years of productive collaboration.

In the meantime, please enjoy this eNewsletter. We are committed to creating communities among the manufacturing industry and believe our eNewsletter is one more way to help us do that. We welcome your feedback!
